The helmet was composed of the same PlastiTitanium mix as the rest of the suit, however it also contained an interlace mix of ultra-thin layers of neutronium throughout its most vital or sensitive head areas. The helmet of the Phase-IV Armor was also quite advanced but still fairly simplistic. The basic composition of Phase IV outer armor was a primary blend of PlastiTitanium with an inter-molecularly laced mixture of mono-crystalline iron microplating throughout the suit (including the skirt). With the innate ability to withstand both heat and cold the armor could allow the wearer to live for hours in open space (unlike most other forms of stormtrooper armor which could only withstand up to 20-45 minutes in most outer EVA conditions). The plating was as flexible as regular fabric thus making it as a kind of anti laser " Kevlar."Īll Phase IV armor suits were equipped to withstand the extreme elements of both other worlds and space. Just as their Imperial counterparts, Phase IV troopers wore a full size armored body glove consisting of intersewn sheets of reinforced lightweight alloy plating. The armor was basically a collection individually placed armatures and jointed plating worn over the torso and limbs with a protective helmet and a heavily armored skirt made of a heavy anti-EM insulation lined with a loose blast shield fabric interwoven with an anti-laser mesh.
